    View Physical Resource Status

    This section introduces how to view physical resource status.

    Prerequisites

    • You should join a cluster and have the Monitoring Viewing permission within the cluster. For more information, refer to "Cluster Members" and "Cluster Roles".

    • WhizardTelemetry Monitoring should have been installed and enabled.

    Steps

    1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Monitoring Viewing permission, and access your cluster.

    2. Click Monitoring & Alerting > Cluster Status in the left navigation pane.

    3. On the Cluster Status page, click Physical Resource Monitoring to view the usage of cluster physical resources.

      • The Physical Resource Monitoring tab provides the following information:

        ParameterDescription

        CPU Usage

        Displays the cluster CPU usage percentage over the specified time range.

        Average CPU Load

        Displays the cluster CPU average load over the specified time range. CPU average load is a dimensionless value representing the average number of active processes on the CPU per unit time.

        Memory Usage

        Displays the cluster memory usage percentage over the specified time range.

        Disk Usage

        Displays the cluster disk usage over the specified time range.

        Inode Usage

        Displays the cluster Inode usage percentage over the specified time range.

        Disk Throughput

        Displays the cluster disk read and write rates over the specified time range.

        IOPS

        Displays the cluster disk read and write operations per second over the specified time range.

        Network Traffic

        Displays the cluster network inbound and outbound rates over the specified time range.

        Pod Status

        Displays the number of running, completed, and failed pods in the cluster over the specified time range.

      • Click timed-task in the upper right corner to set the time range.

      • Click start/pause in the upper right corner to enable/disable real-time data refresh.

      • Click refresh in the upper right corner to refresh data manually.
